What's the greek myth Behind Mount Tamalpais(the sleeping lady)? - ladies mount and blade

I've heard of the Greek mythology behind Mount Tamalpais (in Northern California, USA) in the 7th Class. He was a god who fell inlove with a man and tried to take him to heaven, but he stumbled and fell on her. I want the story and the names of the gods and so on. Me, makes a report in school.
