Blood Donation Pamphlet Long-term Effects Of Blood Donation?

Long-term effects of Blood donation? - blood donation pamphlet

I think many people (agencies, media, etc.) is trying to hide the harmful effects of blood donation, because I want people to donate. Also heard that the short-term and their brochures entitled to "safe".
Seriously, there's absolutely nothing in this world is "safe" for something that requires a change - especially if they do not want that pint of blood every 2 months (and even if they only average 10, 5 liter in our body).
I wonder if anyone of you come through the data and studies have already shown long-term effects of donating blood? Pls provide the website or a source, too.
Thank you!

Never heard of him. If you're healthy, you need to donate your body replace the blood. I have a blood donor for about a year after 9 / has been 11, then stopped for personal reasons. I've never had a problem .... I understand your concern, but. If you're worried, try to donate blood less often or not at all.

There is a considerable risk in donating a prize, but it makes the timing of when you donate and how often you donate a big difference.

Your body replaces blood volume or plasma within 24 hours and red blood cells in 4-8 weeks. When you donate blood 4-8 weeks before you will) have a below average erythrocyte (red blood cells counts.

Red blood cells are the cells carry hemoglobin, the iron-containing oxygen-carriers for the cells of the body. If you give too much in a short period of time, leads him in an anemic state, lacking both iron and oxygen to your cells. Lack of oxygen makes you sensitive to the lack of energy.

We have more than a gallon and a half of blood in the body and take a pint of beer in the open, I understand your concerns. His body was however much more resources to compensate for the amount of the loss. There are several hormones that are released in order to retain water and sodium and restore blood volume almost immediately. Your blood vessels and capillaries close to keep blood pressure. There is help many other mechanisms to adjust their blood volume and blood pressure. Production of red blood cells on an overdrive with a hormone that is used by the kidneys, and before you know that you will again have a normal red blood cells. Blood centers are not allowed to donate more than once every 2 ½ to 3 months are not anemic. taking into account all, if you are healthy enough to donate, the risk is very low. If something will happen to you, and you need a blood transfusion would be very risky to not get it, because there was none.

Never heard such a thing! I've heard of short-term risks, especially if you are anemic, or a "disease" does not make a donation ... However, the blood is safe and a good way to help others. It costs nothing but time and some energy. I hope to continue to give, and you can not change the negative feedback!

* I donated both my son or placenta. Cable (s), does not cost anything, and if we need in the future is in the archive.

* The individual assistance through donations to the hospital, he said, has at least 15 people, as they have a rare blood group contributed. It feels good to others, especially because they often discarded donations help!

Good luck
