Hi Jack,

If your TV has two inputs can be connected a at each entrance. If your TV to connect only one input to the output of your VCR to the DVD input, the output of your DVD on your TV.

Some degradation occurs when he moves into each unit.

Yes, you can use the SCART output on the DVD-Av, then the video output to your TV, you should find the videos on DVD to the AV channel or EXT.
